Five tall ships will be sailing into the Midland harbour on Aug. 8 and sticking around for a jam-packed weekend of events.

The Tall Ships Challenge Ontario tour is taking 15 international tall ships through the Great Lakes, stopping at U.S. and Canadian cities over the course of the summer.

The Pride of Baltimore II, St. Lawrence II, the Playfair, Madeline I and HMCS Oriole will all be visiting the Midland harbour from Aug. 8-11.
