Transportation junkies won’t want to miss Planes, Trains and Automobiles.
The Air Canada pilot who safely landed a 767 that ran out of fuel at 41,000 feet will be the guest speaker at Planes, Trains and Automobiles at the Huronia Municipal Airport July 13.
Bob Pearson steered the famed “Gimli Glider” passenger aircraft to an airport in Gimli, Man., in 1983.
The show will also feature Zenair’s 45th anniversary. The Canadian aircraft kit manufacturer, located at Huronia airport, will be holding an open house.
