Tugfest Georgian Bay will be taking over Midland harbour Aug. 16 and 17 on the heels of the Tall Ships Challenge.

“It’s a tough act to follow,” said Paul Gaynor, an organizer and owner of the Prescotont, a 120-foot tugboat that has been docked in Midland harbour for more than 10 years.

However, Gaynor said he’s excited about this year’s event because they have eight new tugs coming this year and 25 in total, so even the boat owners and annual visitors will have something new to see.
