Art in the Heart Artisan Festival

ART IN THE HEART: A LOCAL ARTISAN MARKET IN TINY, ONTARIO

Tiny, ON – EDCNS in partnership with The Township of Tiny, is proud to announce the launch of Art in the Heart, a new artisan market that will showcase the work of local artists and bring visitors and patrons to our community. The market will be held at Wyevale Park and run for four weekends over July and August.

Art in the Heart is an opportunity for local artisans to showcase their talent and creativity and for visitors to experience the vibrant cultural scene in the Heart of Georgian Bay. The market aims to be an accessible and inclusive event that reflects the landscape of Tiny and the surrounding municipalities.

“We are thrilled to launch Art in the Heart and to support our local artists,” said David Evans, Mayor of the Township of Tiny. “This is a great opportunity to bring cottage goers and day-trippers into Tiny and to showcase the amazing talent and creativity that exists in our community.”

The market will accommodate seven vendors per weekend, each offering two-weekend slots. This means that over the course of the month, there will be 14 unique vendors showcasing their work.

“We are excited to see the talent that our local artisans will bring to the market,” said Bonita Deroches, Director of Recreation and Culture for the Township of Tiny. “We are committed to making this event a success and promoting the arts in our community.”

Art in the Heart will be held at Wyevale Park on Thursdays and Fridays from 3 pm-8 pm and Saturdays and Sundays from 10 am-4 pm. The market will run on the following dates:

• July 20-23
• July 27-30
• August 3-6
• August 10-13

Vendor application forms are available here. Applications will be accepted up to and including June 9^th 2023. Successful applicants will be advised on June 16^th 2023.
