Join experts Liz Grummett and Sandy Kriegish who will provide advice, guidance and best-practices for supporting the mental health and wellness of yourself and your employees. They will address the following topics:

  • How to manage stress and anxiety – how to take care of yourself and others

Speakers

Liz Grummett – Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH)

Liz Grummett is part of the Fundraising and Communication team at CMHA Simcoe County Branch. Liz has been part of CMHA Simcoe County for over 20 years working across a variety of settings including Case Management, Crisis intervention, Outreach Support, Education, and Fundraising. Liz enjoys connecting with her community in both a professional capacity and through a variety of volunteer roles. Liz recognizes the value and importance of maintaining an open mind and having an empathic approach when connecting with others.

Sandy Krieghish – Homewood Health

Sandy Kriegish joined Homewood Health in August of 2008 as a Clinical Manager and Senior Account Executive. She has a Master’s Degree in Educational Psychology, a Bachelor’s degree in Communication, and over 30 years of experience in the field.

She is an experienced trainer and does consultations with managers and senior leaders regarding conflict, communication, managing change and stress, team building, harassment, workplace violence, coaching skills for managers, performance and behavioral issues, and many other topics.

As a former private practice therapist, Sandy has worked with individuals, couples, and children. With training in systems theory, Sandy has the ability to help families and companies improve relationships and work more efficiently toward a common goal.

This session is part of the “Ask an Expert” series presented in partnership with the County of Simcoe, the Small Business Centre of Barrie, Simcoe County and Orillia, South Georgian Bay Small Business Enterprise Centre, Orillia Area Community Development Corporation, Nottawasaga Futures, North Simcoe Community Futures Development Corporation and Community Futures South Georgian Bay.
