Midland public transit users could soon benefit from an improved ride schedule and bus tracking system.
The Ontario government has committed $40,000 to a transit and road infrastructure project in Midland and will nominate the project for federal funding under the Rural and Northern stream of the Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program.
“This funding is about more than just concrete and steel,” said Simcoe North MPP Jill Dunlop. “Projects like this help ensure transit reliability and reduce commute times so that people in Ontario can spend more time with those they care about.”
