For the better part of 20 years, the Dubeau family has been planting, nurturing, harvesting and selling fresh food at their Dubeau Family Farm in Tiny Township.

Without a single employee, Dennis and Kim Dubeau — along with sons Aaron and Jason — have been growing and selling everything from spring asparagus to fall pumpkins, all grown from their 50-acre farm in Perkinsfield.

“We just work from sunrise to sunset ourselves,” Dennis said.

Seven days a week during the growing season, Dennis is up before dawn planting or harvesting so that his County Road 6 farm at Concession 11 stand is stocked for opening at 9 a.m.

The family has been farming the land since 2000. They grow asparagus, strawberries, beans, potatoes, onions, zucchini, cucumber, corn, garlic, numerous varieties of squash, corn and more.
