A total of 15 north Simcoe charities are going to share the $65,000 raised at the Township of Tiny’s 2018 Annual Mayor’s Charity Golf Tournament.

The tournament, held on July 13 at the Brooklea Golf and Country Club, saw 132 people golf and over 200 attend the dinner.

The funds will be divvied up between: Angels with Backpacks, Big Brothers Big Sisters of North Simcoe, Boys and Girls Club of North Simcoe, Community Reach, Crime Stoppers of Simcoe-Dufferin-Muskoka, Georgian Bay Cancer Support Centre, Elmvale District High School Shared Facility Project, Georgian Bay General Hospital Foundation, Hospice Huronia, Huronia Seniors’ Volunteer Care Team, MTM Conservation Association, Scientists in School, Township of Tiny Bursary Program, We Are The Villagers and Wendat Community Programs.

Since 2015, the tournament and dinner has donated $189,000 to 30 charities.
