Perspective is Everything

Where Do You Want To Stand When it Comes To Diversity & Inclusion

Have you ever wondered if your community and workplace is as inclusive as it could be? You may have thought there could be some more learning or seen situations such as microaggressions around you. What can you do to better support diversity and inclusion in the workplace, with co-workers, amongst your friends and in your community?

Making Change, in partnership with Midland business Sunday Restoration is offering “Perspective is Everything”, a virtual workshop for you and your staff to help you create a more inclusive workplace and become allies in your community. The world around us is changing along with our communities and we want to provide you with an opportunity to get ahead of the learning.

In this workshop we’ll focus on:

  • What are microaggressions and how are they harmful
  • How our words, actions and biases can cause us to act in non-inclusive ways without
    even realizing it
  • How can we talk with others in empathetic ways

Cost to participate is $175 for up to 10 staff, join in the conversation and take these important steps towards a more inclusive workplace. Achieve a certificate to show how your workplace has participated in this valuable experience.

Making Change is a nonprofit organization that looks to spark broad community interest and foster conversations around inclusion and diversity with a focus on anti-Black racism. Find out more about what we do in our local communities by visiting our website: www.makingchangesc.com
