Mike and Jennifer Hearn are unimpressed with the Ministry of Education’s plan for the 2020 school year, so much so that they’ve decided to offer local families an alternative.

The Hearns are transforming their business, the Action Play Centre, into a small private school. The Academic Play Centre: Midland’s Mini School will house two 10-student classrooms and offer an in-class educational experience in a “tightly locked bubble.”
