Midland’s Baytech Plastics remains operational amidst COVID-19

Midland, ON – April 8, 2020 – Baytech Plastics wants all stakeholders – shareholders, customers, suppliers, bank, employees, families of employees and others to know that we are continuing to operate. We are in a unique position as an “Essential Business”. We continue to hire and grow to cover both our ongoing business and also to partner with others to react with products to assist in fighting COVID-19.

Baytech still has available capacity in machines over 400 ton and under 3000 ton. We remain profitable and this is why we intend not to take advantage of any Federal or Provincial payment deferrals or wage subsidies but choose to leave those for businesses who need the help to survive.

Our doors are not open to the public and employees use separate entrance and exit doors. We have implemented many new changes to improve the safety of employees as they go about their tasks in as safe a manner as possible.

We expect to remain operational throughout 2020 and will support actions recommended by Health Authorities during this COVID-19 crisis.
