Spring fever gives hope to Midland-area tourist industry

A little warm weather and sunshine has brought out the crowds at the Wye Marsh Wildlife Centre, said executive director Mary Ann Milne. In fact, she’s already seen days when the parking lot was full. It’s a sign people want to get outdoors.

“I would say our crowds are bigger — it’s always weather-driven, but we’re seeing more folks than we normally would,” Milne said. “It’s been interesting to see the dynamic change in this situation.” []
