The Town of Penetanguishene has retained urbanMetrics – a market research and municipal advisory firm – to conduct a review of its retail and service commercial base, particularly within the downtown area. The purpose of the project is to examine gaps in the commercial environment by analyzing the supply and demand for commercial and retail services in consultation with residents, visitors, local business owners, and other business organizations. The final deliverable will be an Action Plan to prioritize opportunities based on supply and demand dynamics, survey feedback, and the local retail landscape.

Complete the survey online at www.connectpenetanguishene.ca/market-gap-analysis or visit Town Hall or the Penetanguishene Library to complete a hard copy.

This short survey should take approximately 5 to 10 minutes to complete. Your input will help us explore and evaluate opportunities for local business growth, investment, and expansion. If you have questions regarding this project please contact Owen Taylor, Planner by email otaylor@penetanguishene.ca or by telephone 705-549-7453 ext. 251.

The survey is open until November 16th at 4:30pm.
