The Town of Penetanguishene is pleased to announce the launch of its new accessible website which has been designed to offer improved navigation and functionality, www.penetanguishene.ca
The website features refreshed content and improved navigation, design and accessibility while integrating several new functions, including:
• Search Functions and Filters that allow members of the public to easily locate the information on the website.
• Popular Resources are now visible on the homepage to reduce the number of user clicks to navigate the site.
• Rapid Response Functionality allows the site to be compatible with all browsers and mobile devices.
• Accessibility Standards compliance with Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).
“We’re always looking for ways to improve communication between the municipality and our community,” said Jeff Lees, Chief Administrative Officer. Our new website is just one of the many great steps we are taking to enhance customer service and communications, as outlined in our 2019-2023 Strategic Plan. This website will be a reliable resource for news, promotion, and information coming from the municipality.”
Residents are encouraged to visit the new website, at www.penetanguishene.ca. Residents who were previously subscribed on the old website will need to resubscribe to the new site.
