Despite the cancellation of Ontario’s Best Butter Tart Festival in June, the spirit of the event is continuing.

The Town of Midland has plans to sell limited-edition T-shirts via the event website. The shirts, now in the design phase, will soon be available to order in men’s and women’s styles. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Georgian Bay General Hospital Foundation. Those who purchase a T-shirt will be entered into draws for Downtown Midland Business Improvement Area (BIA) Bucks.

Festival organizers are also creating a digital colouring page. Photos of a coloured page can be emailed to the festival and participants will be entered in a draw for gift certificates from Minds Alive and for Downtown Midland BIA Bucks. […]
